Dr. Chad Warren Named Vice President of Advancement and Executive Director of the Ƶ Foundation

February 12, 2026

Dear Campus Community,

Dr. Chad Warren

Following a national search, I am pleased to share the exciting news that Dr. Chad Warren will be joining Ƶ as our next Vice President of Advancement and Executive Director of the Ƶ Foundation, pending ratification by the Ƶ Board of Trustees at their next meeting. Dr. Warren will be coming to Ƶ from Las Vegas, Nevada, where he has served most recently as President and Chief Philanthropy Officer of St. Rose Dominican Health Foundation. Chad was born and raised in Ohio, and I know he is eager to return. He begins his new role with us on March 9.

Dr. Warren is joining Ƶ with a professional history of more than 20 years in fundraising and higher education. He has served in roles at the University of Dayton, Florida State University, The Ohio State University and the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. He also served in a vice president and consultant role for the firm Ruffalo Noel Levitz, which works with non-profit organizations to support their fundraising and enrollment management functions.

“I am truly fortunate — my profession is my passion. I have learned that philanthropy is personal and that it is the duty of any development professional to offer multiple ways to foster goodwill, helping each donor achieve their individual interests,” Dr. Warren says. “I am eager to bring my visionary leadership to Ƶ and support its transformative growth.”

As President and CEO of St. Rose Dominican Health Foundation, Dr. Warren is the lead strategist and senior major gifts officer for a network of three acute care hospitals, seven community centers, five neighborhood hospitals and a rehabilitation hospital. Thanks to his team’s accomplishments, the Children’s Miracle Network recently recognized the foundation for their remarkable year-over-year increase in fundraising.

Dr. Warren earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Dayton and his MBA from Saint Leo University in Florida. He later earned a Doctor of Public Policy from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.

In his role, Dr. Warren will work closely with the Ƶ Foundation and its board of directors. “The Ƶ Foundation enthusiastically awaits the arrival of Dr. Warren,” says Mike Klein, chair of their board of directors. “His career accomplishments in terms of reaching record levels of philanthropic attainment, forging corporate and community partnerships, and developing advancement department infrastructure and personnel strongly align with the strategic goals of the University and the Foundation.”

I am delighted that Chad will be joining the Senior Leadership Team next month. In addition, I look forward to welcoming his family — including his husband AJ, his twin toddlers, and their trio of Great Pyrenees dogs — as they relocate to Northeast Ohio.

Sincerely,

Laura Bloomberg, PhD
