ÌÇÐÄÊÓƵ (ÌÇÐÄÊÓƵ) is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission (HLC). Founded in 1895, HLC is responsible for the accreditation of degree-granting colleges and universities across the United States. HLC serves to "advance the common good through quality assurance of higher education." 

Cleveland State has been accredited by HLC since 1940. ÌÇÐÄÊÓƵ values accreditation and uses HLC’s as guidelines for its commitment to continuous improvement.
